Q: What if there are no winners?

A: If $GEAR in the prize pools isn’t won, the unclaimed $GEAR will be added to the next Sweepstake round and 100% of unclaimed $GEAR will be burnt when the event is closed.

Q: My ticket matches several numbers, but I can’t claim a prize

A: Tickets are only eligible for prizes if matching numbers are from left to right.

Q: Can I swap my tickets back to $GEAR?

A: No, once purchased, you will not be able to convert your ticket back to $GEAR.

Q: How often is the Sweepstake?

A: MetaGear Sweepstake round will start daily at 11h UTC from Mar 21st — Mar 31st, 2022

Q: What transaction fee will I pay for buying tickets?

A: Each purchase counts as one transaction, costing the normal fee amount. Buying more tickets will increase the transaction fee slightly, but you will benefit from the Bulk discount.

Q: Why can I only buy 100 tickets?

A: You can only buy a maximum of 100 tickets per purchase, but you can have as many purchases as you want.

Q: If I manually create two or more tickets with the same numbers and they win, am I eligible for prizes for each ticket?

A: Yes, each ticket is treated as a separate entry to the Sweepstake. Keep in mind that the prizes will not be 1:1, though, as each winning ticket dilutes each share of the bracket’s total prizes.

Q: How often will there be an injection?

A: The initial injection is 200,000 $GEAR. Every day, 20% of the total lottery prize pool will be reserved. After every 3 days, the total accumulated reserved pool will be re-injected.

Q: What is the Bulk discount?

A: You’ll benefit from the bulk discount for each purchase of more than 2 tickets. The discount will be increased linearly.

Q: How do you keep the Sweepstake secure, fair, and transparent?
